I use Promethean boards, but don’t use Splashtop Remote – why is Splashtop Whiteboard better than a wireless slate?

  • Splashtop Whiteboard behaves as a wireless slate but without some of its limitations.
  • For teachers and students who find it difficult to use a traditional slate by having to look at the screen while using the stylus, especially visually impaired students, the iPad coupled with Splashtop Whiteboard really helps engage students because you can interact with the screen.
  • Also, the fact that you can interact with flash media directly on the iPad is a great benefit.  With so much course content hosted online and in flash format, having a way to interact with, then capture and share it for later use, is a big benefit.
